William "Bill" McFarland age 72 of Greens Fork passed away peacefully at home on Friday January 24, 2025. He was born February 8, 1952 in Richmond. He was a self-employed prior to working at C.M, Contractors retiring in 2013.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Bill was a member of the Whitewater Valley Marine Corps League, American Legion Post #333, and Amvets Post #38.

Survivors include his wife Michelle Charles of Greens Fork, one brother Don McFarland of Richmond, one sister Jenni (Martin) Garcia of Texas, one step-daughter Amber (Robert) Smith of Michigan, one step-son Cory Fulton of Centerville, two daughters Melissa Kettering and Lisa McFarland of Richmond, eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Bill is preceded in death by his first wife Ginger Wright McFarland, his father Donald McFarland, his mother Irma "Dee" Simms, two brothers Rick and Rod, and a step-daughter Brandy Jo Fox.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 P.M. Saturday February 8, 2025 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville. Family and friends may call from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Saturday February 8th at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home.
