Vivian "Martina" King, 90, of Richmond, passed away on July 2, 2025, in Richmond.  She was born on August 25, 1934, to the late Howard and Gertrude (Pomeroy) Cummins in Anderson, IN.

Martina worked for over 42 years with the Woolworth Company.  She married her husband, Lish "Red" King, on May 13, 2017.  She enjoyed playing euchre, her Tibetan spaniel, Katy, and she loved to collect figurines of cats, dogs, and horses.  She was quite the artist and did many paintings.  She was a huge gardener of many varieties of day lilies.  In her early years, she showed and raised Himalayan Cats.   She was also a member of the Richmond Conservation Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Thornburg.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lish "Red" King; her daughter, Michele (Evan Newman); grandchildren, Jeremy Arnold and Jessica (Cameron) Mayes; four great grandchildren and one on the way.

Services for Martina will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, 222 N. 10th St., Richmond, IN 47374, with Rodney Dunn presiding.  Friends may call to visit from 12:00 PM until the time of service.  Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Martina's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
