Virginia Doris Roark, 85 of Richmond, died July 11, 2025, at her home. She was born September 14, 1939, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to C. Frances and Oma Lee Whitica Wicker. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Wal-Mart and Richmond Community Schools. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her sons, Timothy James Lee Roark and Christopher Brian Roark, four grandchildren, Robert, Nickolas, Joseph, and Zachary, and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband James, parents, and one brother, Charlie Wicker.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 202,5, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. A private burial will be at Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City.
