Obituary

Virginia Anna Miller 91 of Richmond passed away on January 10, 2024, at the Springs of Richmond after a short illness. She was born May 29, 1932, in Richmond to John and Mabel Irene Pfoutz West and lived here all of her life.

She did factory work and worked as a housekeeper, but she embraced her primary role as a housekeeper.

Virginia was an avid doll collector; she loved going to flea markets to find the next holiday Barbie or Shirley Temple doll to add to her vast collection. She also loved raising homing pigeons with her husband Edwin.

She is survived by her son John Edwin (Sue) Miller of Whitewater, her daughter Ruth Ann (Ricky) Brown of Richmond, five grandchildren John Miller, Terri Linn Kenner, Traci Clark, Stephanie Nicholson, and Kimberly Ashcraft, seventeen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, one brother Richard "Dick" West, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin who died in 2020, one daughter Debra Hale, one granddaughter Angela Renee' Brown, and one brother Arthur "Art" West.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 18, 2024, in the Earlham Mausoleum Chapel; with entombment in the Mausoleum. Friends may call from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Mausoleum Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stegallberheideorr.com
