Virginia L. (Grasse) Cones, 84 of New Paris, Ohio, died at her home on December 30, 2025. She was born July 10, 1941, in Richmond to John and Anna Mildred Quaglio Grasse. She worked for over 35 years as an L.P.N., retiring from Foundations in New Paris, serving people with special abilities. She loved her career and family.

Survivors include her two daughters Marcia (Kenny) Tucker and Teresa (Jeff) Dye, seven sons Doug (Kathy) Cones, Gene (Mona) Cones, George Cones, Jim Cones, Charles Cones, Tom (Vicky) Cones, and Paul Cones, several grandchildren including Jaime Tucker, Jacob (Chelsea) Dye, and Zachariah (Mary) Dye, her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Wendell L. Cones, died June 19, 2002. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, Lowell Richard Weist, two brothers, John and Tony Grasse, two sisters, Mary Herity and Josephine Watson, her daughters-in-law, Linda and Sue Cones, and her pet dog Teddy.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Jeff Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. On Friday at the funeral home.
