Thomas Dwayne Pugh 81 of Richmond passed away on March 5, 2024, at his home after a long illness. He was born December 4, 1942, in Richmond to Elmer Joseph and Mildred Louise Goss Pugh and lived here all his life.

He enjoyed listening to classic country music and playing Yahtzee and cards with his family; he loved his grandchildren with all his heart.

Thomas worked as a self-employed contractor.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Nancy, six children Thomas Jr., Helen, Doug, Eddie, Theresa, and Christie, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren;  three sisters Betty Dulley, Rose Jackson, and Linda Simpson, one brother David Pugh, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his great-granddaughter Kaylauna Ray, three brothers Fred, Bobby, and Steve, and one sister Sandra.
