Thelma M. Russell 102 of Richmond passed away on June 6, 2024, at Reid Health. She was born December 2, 1921, in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky to McKinley and Alpha Sebastian Arnold and lived in this area most of her life.

She worked at the Atlas Underwear Factory.

Thelma loved spending time with her family and enjoyed attending Crosspoint Church.

She is survived by her two daughters Teresa Wolfe with who she lived and Pauline Torbeck both of Richmond; three granddaughters Tracy Garrett, Lisa (Michael) Atwell, Leigh (Steven) Walkotte, three great-grandchildren Ashley, Wyatt, Max, two great -great granddaughters Madelyn and Addison; one half brother Matt Arnold, two nieces Tricia Adams and Michelle Schuler.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William "Red" Russell who died in 1965, and four sisters and one brother.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, June 14, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Singleton officiating; burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
