Terry Dee Haisley, 76, of Richmond died Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Majestic Care in Connersville.  Terry was born in Marion, IN on January 29, 1947, the son of the late Harley and Willa Mae (Peterson) Haisley.

He graduated from Fairmount High School in 1965 and Butler University in 1970. Terry married Nancy Fansler on June 6, 1969.  Terry was proud to be a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity at Butler University.

He started his career as an elementary school teacher in Indianapolis and eventually transitioned into a position in sales, working with Adam H. Bartel for many years and establishing their floor-covering division.  This led him to a career in the floor covering industry, working for several manufacturers, culminating in his final role as territory manager for Beaulieu of America.

Terry was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.  He was an avid golfer, college sports fan, crossword fanatic, and member of the Richmond Elks Lodge #649 where he helped raise funds for Parkinson's Disease.

Terry is survived by his wife, Nancy, Richmond, brother Gary (Susan) Haisley, Fairmount, daughter, Melissa Schulz (Mike) Doylestown PA, son, Patrick (Jessica) Haisley; four granddaughters, Katherine Schulz, Harley Haisley, Emerson Schulz, and Maggie Haisley.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Willa Mae, and brother, Jerry Haisley.

In keeping with the wishes of Terry, there will be no funeral services. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
