Stephen Torbeck, 81 years old, from Richmond, IN passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2024. There will be no public service, funeral arrangements are being handled by Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home.

Stephen was born in Richmond, IN on April 25, 1942. He graduated in 1960 from Richmond High School, Richmond, IN. Stephen married Pauline (Russell) Torbeck on November 2, 1963. They were married for 60 years.

Stephan had worked at Mosey Manufacturing Plant #7 for 15 years and had previously worked at NATCO for over 25 years. He was a member of the NATCO 25-year club. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and playing golf with the Tuesday golf group. Many of the Tuesday golf group were his friends from high school. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandsons.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Pauline Torbeck, his daughters, Tracy Garrett and Leigh Walkotte (Steven), his grandsons, Wyatt Pierce and Max Walkotte, and his brother, David Torbeck. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, John Torbeck, and his mother, Stella Torbeck.
