Sherry Ann Lawson (O'Donnell), 60, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away at St. Vincent's Hospital on October 7, 2024. She was born in Richmond, Indiana, on November 5, 1963, to Virginia Rose Wysong (Kirkland) and James Robert O'Donnell. She lived in Richmond most of her life until 2012 when she relocated to Muncie. She worked as a childcare provider and was a cosmetologist. She had many hobbies. She enjoyed bingo but loved the casino. You could always find her at a Goodwill. She enjoyed thrifting, crafting, and most importantly spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by her Ragdoll cat, Boo Boo, and her teacup Chihuahua, Rosa. Sherry is survived by her mother Virginia Wysong of Richmond, her son Joshua (Kassandra) O'Donnell, her daughter Jessica (Desiree) O'Donnell, both of Richmond; three grandchildren: Bryan Meyer, Jaycee O'Donnell, and Braxtyn O'Donnell; two sisters: Betty "Podgie" Goins, Delores "Baba" Clark; her niece: Alexandria Goins and her nephew: Kiernan Clark, her uncle: Joe Kirkland of Fort Myers, Florida. She is survived by her loving partner, Tex Newton, Sr. (children), and her children's father, Terry Riddle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Lawson, both step-fathers Jerry Wysong and Leonard Clark, maternal grandparents: Betty Jane Clark and Lonnie Miller, two uncles: John "Porky" Kirkland and Lawrence "Ozzie" Kirkland, Sr., and her sister, Joyce Lynn Kirkland. Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with burial in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
