Sharon Joyce Sturgis, age 77 of Richmond, died December 21, 2022, at Reid Health. She was born February 14, 1945, in Richmond to Sylvester and Anna Nobbe. Sharon was a retiree from Belden Corporation.

Survivors include her daughter, Dawnette (Koji) Kanekawa of Hiroshima, Japan, one grandson, Owen Kanekawa, and one brother, Earnest Michael Nobbe. She is also survived by her good neighbor, Cindy Murray. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James A. Nobbe.

Private graveside services were held in St. Mary's Cemetery with Rev. Martin Holman officiating. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
