Sharon Rose Githens Enright, 72 of Centerville passed away on August 26, 2023, at Reid Health after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born November 21, 1950, in Greenfield, Ohio to Paul and Aileen Smith Githens and lived in this area most of her life.

She was a member of Centerville Christian Church.

Sharon was a class of 1969 Richmond High School graduate and received her P.H.D. from The Ohio State University.

She worked as a Data Director for the Ohio State Department of Education

Sharon loved to start her mornings by listening to pray.com, reading her Bible, and playing Sudoku; she was also an excellent seamstress and cook.

Sharon is survived by her mother, her husband of 30 years, Stephen Lawrence Enright, three children Tony Herold of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Brad (Vanessa) Herold of Flushing, Michigan, Kayla Beth Enright of Portland, Oregon, two grandchildren Astrid, and Lorenzo Herold; three siblings Penny (Ed) Githens Buffie of Bloomington, Indiana, Steve (Michell) Githens of Bartow, Florida, Cathy Githens of Aptos, California, several nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at Centerville Christian Church, 111 Morton Ave, Centerville, Indiana 47330 with Pastor Wes Sewell officiating; inurnment will be in Elkhorn Cemetery at a later date.  Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
