Sarah Rose Thorman, 35, of Richmond, Indiana died unexpectedly in her sleep on January 7th, 2024.  She was born and raised in Richmond and Centerville, Indiana.  After graduating from Centerville High School in 2006, she lived and worked in Richmond.  She was an imaginative and creative child who loved animals, often bounding around the house pretending to be a horse, dog, cat, or any other animal that might come to mind.  Later, she was a member of 4-H and dreamed of one day working with animals for a living.

Sarah is survived by her son, Zachary Summers (15), and daughter, Audrey Keller (7) along with her sister, Beth Darr (TJ Rivard) and brother, Andrew Darr (Chris Harmon).  She is also survived by her partner, Joe Petty; a niece, Whitney Rivard; and two nephews, Dylan Rivard and Ian Darr-Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Terry and Debbie Thorman.

We will all miss her warmth, her beautiful smile, and her tender spirit, and pray that she has found happiness and peace in the embrace of those who have gone before her.

A memorial visitation for Sarah will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home.
