Sarah Katherine May, 89, of Richmond, died Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Reid Health. She was born on October 8, 1936, in Henry County to James and Minnie Willis. She retired from management in the restaurant business.

Survivors include two children, James "Slick' Johnson and Dianna Dunn, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, four brothers, Doug, Bobby, Charlie, and Elmer Willis, and nieces and nephews. Sarah is preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Sue McElroy, and her parents and other brothers and sisters, David James, Johnny Willis, Hazel McKenney, Goldie Carson, Mary Kirkoff, Gladys Copeland, Betty Henshaw, Russell Willis, and Janie Roberson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 24, 2025, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, followed by burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
