Ruth Marie Middleton 92 of Richmond passed away to be with the Lord on April 10, 2021, at Reid Health. She was born March 7, 1929, to Ray and Crystal Anderson Irvine. She retired from the J.C. Penney Company and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and Neighborly Club.

Ruth is survived by her two sons Larry (Karen) Middleton and Jerry (Natasha) Middleton both of Richmond, five grandchildren Jason (Kristen) Middleton, Sarah (Kevin) Gibson, Sasha, Alexis, and Seth Middleton, three great-grandchildren Margaret Middleton, Brayden and Anna Gibson, one brother Richard (Shirley) Irvine, nieces, and nephews, and her special friend Lloyd Fox. Her husband William D. "Bill" Middleton died May 27, 1990, she is also preceded in death by her parents and her infant sister.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, April 16, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. David McQueen officiating. The burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
