Ronald L. Sparks 63, of Richmond, passed away December 9, 2020. He was born November 6, 1957, in Beattyville, Kentucky to Heber and Betty Jean Sparks and lived in this area most of his life.

He retired in August of this year from the City of Richmond Street Department where he had worked for 44 years.

Ronald was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and a Sprint Car enthusiast.

He is survived by his significant other of 38 years Debbie Carroll, three children Michelle Sparks of Chicago, Marty Carroll of Richmond, Scott Carroll of Richmond, two brothers Billy Paul (Pam) Sparks, Robbie (Melissa) Sparks, one sister Pam (Chris) Kincaid, one brother in law Charlie (Becky) Carroll, one sister in law Lisa (Jeff) Bottoms, several nieces, nephews, two four-legged friends Damien and Ralphie.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Janet Boatman.
