Loving husband, father and grandfather Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Dees, 86 of Richmond, IN passed away peacefully at home Friday July 25, 2025. He was born in Liberty, IN August 11, 1938 to Hiram Dees and Ida Hensley Brenner and lived in Richmond all of his life. He was a 1956 Graduate of Richmond High School and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 – 1959.

He met the love of his life Delola Foust Dees in 1955 when they worked at the Maid-Rite in Richmond, IN and married August 29, 1959. He worked for Perfect Circle Dana Corp for 35 years as a journeyman machinist and for his father Hiram Dees at The Pub and Dees Café. He loved his Harley-Davidson and made many trips across the US with Delola and their friends. He had a lifelong love for Westerns, especially those starring John Wayne and enjoyed vintage cars and motorcycles. He never knew a stranger, had a great sense of humor and was always there to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include his wife Delola, two daughters Rhonda (Dale) Cillian of Gilbert, AZ and Konda Dees of Thiensville, WI, two grandchildren Jonathon Cillian of Gilbert, AZ and Kaylee McConville of Elkhorn, WI, brother-in-law Ronnie (Mary) Foust, Vondena Bellamy, Lorena Norton (Gerry) Miller, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and special cousin Belinda Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents,his brothers Robert Dees and Duane Dees, brother-in-law, Lee Bellamy, brother-in-law Keith Norton and nephew Bret Street.

Services will be at Monday August 4, 2025 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr, 222 N. 10th St, Richmond, IN 47374. Family and friends may gather at 12:00 PM, services will be at 2:00 PM with burial following at Elkhorn Cemetery.
