It's with a heavy heart we announce the death of Ronald D. Lear Sr. He passed June 21st at Reid hospital after a battle with a long illness. Ronald was born September 21st, 1941 in Richmond, Indiana. He graduated from Richmond high school and went on to serve 4 years in the United States Air Force. He worked at First National Bank and retired from Mosey Manufacturing where he was a Personnel Director.

Ronald leaves behind his loving wife Peggy (Croft) of 60 years. His son Tobin (Julie),his grandchildren Crystal (Josh), Tiffany, Ronald III, and Ayden, great-grandchildren Camille and Trystin Franklin, Melody and Rhythm Mathews, and several loved nieces and nephews, brothers Steven and Kevin, his sisters Collette Bennett, and Denise Johnson Adams.

Ron is preceded in death are his parents Dennis and Martha Lear, mother Betty Johnson (Lear, Holland), his son Ronald Lear Jr., brothers Johnny Ross and Rickie Lear.

A celebration of life will be held on July 23rd at 2 pm. Service will be at West Richmond Friends Meeting 609 W Main Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374.
