Robert (Bob) Warfel, Richmond, Indiana, died October 15, 2023. Born on April 29, 1950, his parents were William and Joanne Warfel. He graduated in 1968 from Richmond High School and in 1973 from Indiana University. He was the former owner of Stagg Safety Inc., a wholesale supplier of industrial safety equipment in Richmond and Evansville.

Bob's enthusiasm for life was expressed through his great love of his family and friends, his bonsai collection, playing cribbage and golf, IU basketball, and touring the country on his Harley Davidson with his wife Annette, whom he married in 1971.

Bob's family also includes children Jessica and husband Craig Brittingham, Christopher Warfel and Katharine Hogg; grandchildren Elijah Brittingham, Ava Brittingham, Darius Hogg, and Isaiah Hogg; brothers and their wives John and Delynn Warfel and Thomas and Claire Warfel; and in-laws Scott and Jana Sedam and Tom and Lee Anne Keim.

Services for Bob will be private; there will be no public visitation. Please make memorial donations to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County, Cope Environmental Center, or Richmond Art Museum.
