Obituary

Robert Clay Ferman 68 of Richmond passed away in his home on April 29, 2024, after a long illness. He was born on January 3, 1956, in Indianapolis to Jack and Lena Morris Ferman and grew up in Metamora before moving to Richmond.

Bob was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He worked for Kemper Cabinets and Primex Plastic.

Bob enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting playing golf, shooting pool, and restoring old cars.

He is survived by his wife Lynn, two children Raquel Jo (Michael) Gindling, and Zackery Clay (Amy Clark) Ferman, four grandchildren Austin, Zoey, Lilly, and Audree, two great-grandchildren Miles and Cole; two brothers Jack Ferman, Larry (Belinda) Ferman, three sisters Candy (Mike) Gesell, Marcia (Terry) Lambert, Janet (Gary) Baker, his mother in law Inga Caine, one brother in law Dale (Kimberly) Cain, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Ernie Cain.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastors Martin Holman and Darrell Kepler officiating; burial will be in Chester Cemetery.
