Randy Rust 61 of Richmond died unexpectedly on August 22, 2023, at Reid Health. He was born April 27, 1962, in Richmond to Ronald E. and Ruby Marie Rust and lived here all his life. He worked as an OTR driver for Carrington Trucking. He was saved by Jesus three years ago.

Randy is survived by his sister Rhonda (Bradley) Kantor, his nephew Skyylar Kantor, his special cousin Sheila (Terry) Toney, his special uncle Vic Ater, other cousins Joshua and Tyler Arnett, and Claire Orcutt, his close family and friends, and his puppies Leo and Lady. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Nathan and Clara Evans and Dora Mayer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Brook Sparks and Chaplain Billy Watson officiating. His burial will be in Williamsburg Cemetery. Friends can call Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Stegall-Berheide-Orr.
