Rachel Bane, 60, of Richmond passed away on July 4, 2026, at Reid Health. She was born on August 26, 1965, in Richmond to James D. and Nichole K. Newlon Bane;she grew up in Trotwood, Ohio and lived in this area most of her life.

Rachel was a hardworking, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved God, lived her life through Jesus and loved her family dearly.

She worked multiple jobs; working with her mother at Mainstreet Cleaners; she worked as a waitress, a manager at Lees Famous Recipe and as a commercial housekeeper.

She is survived by her loving daughter Nicole Marie (Michael McMahan) Arnette, one granddaughter Kaiya (Felix Galan) McMahan, one grandson Elijah McMahan, one great granddaughter Elora Galan; four brothers Joseph Bane, Stan Bane, Robby Bane, Tony Bane, several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Greg Bane.
