Pauline Torbeck passed away on January 8, 2026 at Ambassador Healthcare.  She was born to the late William and Thelma (Arnold) Russell on June 16, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, KY.  She was a 1961 graduate of Richmond High School.

Pauline was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, wife and friend.  She married her late husband Stephen Torbeck on November 2, 1963.   He preceded her in death on March 28, 2024.  She was a dedicated homemaker and teacher's aide for Vaile Elementary School for several years.  Pauline assisted the preschool class at Central United Methodist Church and was also a shining star selling Avon Products for over 25 years.  She enjoyed staying busy and spending time with her friends and family.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Tracy Garrett and Leigh (Steven) Walkotte; grandsons, Wyatt Pierce and Max Walkotte; her sister, Teresa Wolfe; along with lots of girlfriends.

The family wanted to share a special thank you to the staff of Ambassador Healthcare and Southern Care Hospice. No services are scheduled at the family's request.
