Pauline Marie Schroeder, 90, of Richmond died Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Arbor Trace after a short illness. She was born November 5, 1934, in Richmond to Clarence and Delores Combes Baumer and lived here all her life. She retired as a Register Nurse

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish of Richmond and the St. John's Parish of New Paris, Ohio. She was a member of the Richmond Senior Community Center and the Senior Steppers.

Pauline's family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and residents of Arbor Trace, especially Tammy, Robin, Lexie, and Madison for their care while Pauline lived there. The family would also like to express admiration for the Reid Hospice Program.

Survivors include four children Stephen (Delisa) Schroeder of Richmond, Jim (Brenda) Schroeder of Shelbyville, Bob (Karen) Schroeder, and Karen (Clarence) Boswell of Richmond, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one sister Linda (Jimmy) Espinosa of San Antonio, Texas, nieces and nephews.

Her husband Charles E. "Jack" Schroeder died on October 13, 2017. She is also preceded in death by one grandson Joseph Schroeder, her parents, and her brothers John and Daniel Wert.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 22, 202,5 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church with Fr. Sengole Gnanaraj officiating. Burial will follow at St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home.
