Patricia Ann "Trish" Verhasselt 65 of Richmond died November 15, 2021, at her home. She was born September 2, 1956 in Grinnell, Iowa.  She worked as a secretary in the insurance industry and with Drake University. She also worked as a veterinarian's assistant. She loved animals and spending time with her family and friends.

Trish is survived by her sister Joyce "Jo" Lehr, two brothers Dan (Jane) Duncan and David (Tami) Stevens, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd A. and Hazel L. Osborne Stevens and her brother-in-law Kenneth "Ken" Lehr.
