Patricia A. Groff age 83 of Richmond died on January 8, 2024, at Reid Health. She was born June 14, 1940, in Anderson to Everette L. and Henrietta Kuklenski Chadd and lived here most of her life. She formerly worked as a teller at the Wayne County Teacher's Credit Union and as a tutor at Vaile School. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Parish. She enjoyed home life and loved her family.

Pat is survived by her three children Cheryl (Keith) Weatherholt, Karen Coates, and Larry (Tammy) Groff, five grandchildren James (Lisa) Zwissler, Dr. Megan (Dan) Landis M.D., Michelle (Derek) Huber, Dr. Tyler (Angela) Groff Ph.D., and Katelyn Groff, twelve great-grandchildren Conner, Allie, and Jake Zwissler, Will, Reagan, Quinn and Grace Block, Vance and Banks Huber, and Lucas, Evelyn, and Cora Groff, one sister Linda Duprey, and one niece. Her husband Robert Edwin "Bob" Groff died on November 1, 2020. She is also preceded in death by her parents and one brother Donald Eugene Chadd.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 12, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Chapel with Rev Nick Pagano officiating with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
