Norman Brooks

Norman Gene Brooks Sr. 90, of Richmond died Saturday September12, 2026 at his home. He was born on December 2, 1935, in Richmond to Wayne and Jeweldyne Engle Brooks and lived most for his life. 

He worked for Richmond Gear Company until it closed and Pheonix Arizona to begin a new life where he worked for Aircraft Gear as a supervisor until its closing. He and his wife Wanda Simpson Brooks moved back to Richmond to continue their lives. He was an Air Force veteran. 

He is survived by his three sons: Norman Brooks Jr., Patric Brooks wife Kelly Ricketts Brooks, and Joseph Brooks Finance Renee. His grandchildren Dale and wife Brittany Brooks, Sarah and husband Jeremy Bulmer, Caitlyn and husband Alex Wichterman Brooks, and Ashley Ricketts; Great Grandchildren: Trenton, Carter, Owen, Blakely, Jaxon, Lennoх and Hendrix Brooks, Jacob and wife Kaitlyn, Keirstyn and Kahlen Bulmer, Brayden and Sarah Ricketts. 

He is preceded in death by his wife Wanda Brooks, parents Wayne and Jeweldyne Brooks, sister Joyce Roberts and brother-in-law Frank Roberts, and his daughter in-law Jennifer Janssen.
