Norma L. Gilliland 98 of Richmond passed away on February 10, 2023, at Friends Fellowship Community. She was born July 7, 1924, in Randolph Co. to Herman L. and Madge M. Hinds Ganger and lived here most of her life.

She worked for Western-Union, and H&R Block, and retired from the Wayne Teachers Credit Union.

Norma was a member of the First United Methodist Church; she loved watching the Reds and NASCAR.

She is survived by one nephew Steve Thomas of Richmond, one niece Janet (Rick) Halcomb of Economy, and three great nephews Jacob Halcomb, Elijah Halcomb, Ian Thomas, one great niece Saraya Thomas; one great-great niece and two great-great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert who died in 2014, one sister, and one brother.
