Michael L. Shelley 72 of Richmond passed away on January 11, 2024; he was born on April 19, 1951, in Richmond to Luther Jr. and Maxine Roberts Shelley.

He served in the United States Marine Corps.

Michael worked as a Telecommunications Engineer.

He is survived by one son Joe (Misty) Shelley of Dayton, one daughter Jamie Shelley of Richmond, six grandchildren Tristan, Jenna, Jade, Celeste, Joseph, Ava, and his grand pup Zoey Hexum; one brother Marshall Shelley, two sisters Marilyn Handley, Mildred Farmer, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
