Michael Leon Sheets 56 of Fountain City died December 21, 2021, at his home. He was born August 9, 1965, in Richmond to Mervin Sheets and Patricia Null Sanford.

He worked at Spartech Plastics.

Survivors include his daughter Amber Sheets, his son Justin Sheets, seven grandchildren Nevaeh Larkin, Jasmine Larkin, Malachi Beckford, Aniyah Beckford, Serenity Horton, Kinslee Sheets, and Tegan Sargent. His mother Patricia Sanford, two brothers Steven J. Sheets, Josh Tackleson, his fiance Sharon Byrd; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Mervin Sheets and one brother Eric Sheets.
