Michael E. Bruner age 69 of Modoc died June 27, 2024. He was born October 20, 1954, in Winchester to Allen E. and Olive Leota Smith Bruner and lived in this area all his life. He worked as a handyman and was a veteran of the Army.

Survivors include his children Stephen Bruner and Angel (Ken) Marcum, four grandchildren Amber Shriver, Samuel Bruner, Larry A. (Kristin) Stone III, and Kit Marcum, two great-grandchildren Grayson and Mia Shriver, two sisters Diana (Terryl) McDaniel, and Joyce Spotts, one brother Allen D. (Nancy) Bruner, nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Sherry Lee Bruner.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Service is handling arrangments.
