Mattie F. Garner, 93 of Richmond, passed away peacefully at Reid Health on March 8th 2026.  She was born to Erman Raine and Jimmy Moore of Kentucky.

She was a homemaker.

She loved her children and loved Jesus.  She loved her children, Carolyn Clark, her husband William Clark Jr., Danny Garner, Steven Garner, and his wife, Peggy. Granddaughter Teresa Steel and her children, Kyleigh and Karoline.  Her Grandson Dewayne Steel - wife Tori Steel, their children Katie Bowers, Samantha Steel, Mitchell Steel, and Toby Steel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Garner, and her son, Ricky Garner.

Services will be 1:00PM March 20. 2026 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, with Rev. Bill Cox officiating; burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stegallberheideorr.com
