Matthew Edward Felty 35 of Richmond passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2023. He was born March 11, 1988, in Richmond to Larry Edward Felty and Cindy Ann Walters Himelick, and lived here all of his life.

Matthew had a heart of gold, he was known for his outgoing personality, and his ability to make people laugh; he liked the outdoors, collecting sports cards and RC Cars. He loved spending time with his children and his family.

He is survived by his father Larry Felty of New Paris, his mother Cindy (Jeff) Himelick of Ft. City, one sister Sarah Rice of Centerville, one brother Ben Felty of Centerville; the love of his life Kristina Warren, two children Brynlee and Braxton Felty, two nieces Becca, Brooklyn, one nephew Adrian. His paternal grandfather Dale Felty, his maternal grandmother Peggy Walters; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Amie Felty, maternal grandfather Frank Walters, his uncle Troy Walters, and his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.

Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Brett Karanovich officiating; Burial will be at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
