Mary L. Leonard 86, of Richmond, passed away August 1, 2021, at Arbor Trace Senior Living. She was born January 4, 1935, in Wayne County to Joseph Blaine and Mary Alice Heinbaugh McNamara and lived in this area most of her life.

She was a title one teacher's aide; she enjoyed music, art, and teaching sunday school.

Mary was a member at Middleboro United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years Robert Keith Leonard, four children Denise (William) Newbold of New Paris, Dena (Randy) Hunnicutt of Economy, Holly Mosley of Dallas, TX., Anthony Leonard of Bullhead City, AZ., five grandchildren, Jamison Newbold, Audrey Steele, Sarah Lyons, Allison Hunnicutt, Emily Hunnicutt, five great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother, Joyce Kanke, Duane McNamara, Debra Albrecht, several nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
