Martha Mae Huffman Thomas, 93, of Richmond, passed away April 22, 2025, at Reid Health. She was born June 19, 1931, in Liberty to Beniah Franklin and Olsie Almira Wilson Miller and lived in this area most of her life.

Martha was a homemaker and worked as a teller at West End Bank.

She was a member of the Whitewater Christian Church, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School and served on the Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carol (Daniel) Caplinger, Nancy (Rick) Funk, five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, James Huffman, her second husband, Paul Thomas, and one grandchild, Stephanie Williams.

Graveside services will be private; burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements .
