Mark "Bill" Brandenburg, 83, of Richmond, died October 25, 2025, at Reid Health.  He was born on February 16, 1942, to Robert and Mildred (Dwyer) Brandenburg in Richmond.

Bill was a 1960 graduate of Richmond High School.  A veteran of the Air Force, he served from 1963 to 1967 with two tours of duty in Vietnam from 1964 to 1966, as a bomb loader for B-52 bombers.  He retired from REMSCO, formerly worked for Wells Pontiac, Motion Industries, and was currently working at KOI Auto Supply.
He was a member of Elizabeth Anne Seton Parish, attending St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Whitewater Valley Corvette Club.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jane (Templeton) Brandenburg; his daughter, Beth (Daren) Warren of Indianapolis,  his son, Brett (Tammy) Brandenburg of Richmond, 5 grandchildren, Josh (Kourtney) Brandenburg of Richmond, Cassie (Eric) Holcombe of Noblesville, Mackenzie Lincoln of Indianapolis, Jake Brandenburg of Greens Fork, Jenna Brandenburg of Richmond,  great grandchildren, Elyza Bradshaw, Kolten Brandenburg, Liam and Kara Holcombe; brothers, Dick Brandenburg of Richmond and  Bob (Janet) Brandenburg of Eugene, Oregon, nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Judy Hendel.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev Sengole Gnanaraj officiating, followed by burial in Earlham Cemetery with military honors. A prayer service will be at 12:30 P.M. at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home on Saturday.  Friends may call on Friday, October 31, 2025, beginning at 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be given to the Wayne County Veterans' Memorial Park in care of the Wayne County Veterans' Memorial Committee, P.O.
