Marjorie G. Miller, age 94, of Richmond passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Reid Health in Richmond. Marjorie was born on November 19, 1928, in Vermillion, Illinois to Elmer and Emily (Griffin) Hale but lived most of her life here in Richmond with her husband Jessie.

During her career, Marjorie worked at the Belden in Richmond for 30 years in production. When Marjorie was not at work, she was a very active member of her church, enjoyed bowling with friends, quiet time crocheting, and loved to decorate cakes for others.

Survivors include her daughter Kathy Kirtley of Richmond, three grandchildren Jim (Tina) Kirtley, Jason (Mary) Kirtley, Amy (Mike) Hedrick, seven great-grandchildren  Devin, Amber, Cierra, Tyler, Jacob, Natalie, Jessica, five great-great-grandchildren Elijah, Noel, Shayne, Brooks, Alycen, and one sister Norma Kouns which she loved dearly.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband Jessie Miller, and one son Cary D. Miller, her parents, and three brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home 222 North 10th Street Richmond with Rev. Carlos King officiating. The burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
