Margaret Kay Lewis (Darnell) born November 14, 1945, in Akron, Ohio, left this world on May 31, 2023. She was loved by all who knew her.

She loved country music, NCIS and Murder She Wrote.

She graduated high school from Owego Free Academy in Owego, New York. She received her Associate's Degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech Community College in Richmond, Indiana.

She leaves behind a son, Von Spalding (Michelle), daughters Barbara Hall (William), and Esther Lewis, and grandchildren, Jonathan (Natosi), Andrew (Mary), Solar (Abby) and Jordan (Jordan), Angie, Justin, and Rachel.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, the love of her life, Albert Spalding (2009) and her parents Jesse and Margaret (Johnstonbaugh) Darnell, and many special friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage House nursing home for their years of care and support.

She will be cremated and there will be no services. Instead of a funeral, we ask that you remember Kay in your own special way.
