Mabel Esther Potter Spurlock, 85, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away on October 15, 2024, at Reid Health after a long illness. She was born April 6, 1939, in Jackson County, Kentucky to Norman and Verna Mae Bowers.  She spent most of her life in Richmond as a homemaker.

She is survived by her four children Deborah Lowden (Brian), Joseph Potter (Dulce), Rebecca Minor, and Rhonda Minor, ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and her daughter-in-law Lorri Potter.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband William Minor, son Harvey Potter, and sisters Barbara Basham and Ruth Kidwell.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. David McQueen officiating. Burial will be in Chester Cemetery.
