Linda Cox, 65, of Connersville passed away Monday, January 22, 2024. She was raised in Richmond by her parents Clyde and Rev. Sylvia Young. She lived most of her life in Richmond, before moving to Connersville, where she resided until she passed. Linda worked many jobs in her life.

She will be remembered as a selfless individual with a huge heart who loved to help anyone she could. She especially loved to cook for her friends and family. She will be deeply missed by many.

Linda is survived by her daughter Amy Sparks of Richmond and Kevin Heiber (son-in-law), three grandchildren Owen Rogers of Hanover, Layla Sparks of Connersville, and Heidi and Uriah Wilson of Richmond, two great-grandchildren Josie and Camille Wilson of Richmond, Rob Williamson of Ravenna, Ohio, two sisters Rosetta Powers of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Andrea Stewart of Richmond, Kentucky, a special cousin Wilma Miles of Centerville, and special friends Joy Dalton of Richmond, and Richard and Dianna Hahn of Connersville, and her faithful companion to the very end Maggie May, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Earl R. Sparks, one sister Sandi McWhorter, and two brothers Rev. Lonnie Young and Rev. Larry Young.. We pray she finds peace in the embrace of family and friends who have gone before her.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. January 28, 2024, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Collins officiating. The burial for Linda will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville.
