Laurence "Larry" Eugene Maddux, 82, of Richmond, IN passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026.  He was born to the late Eugene Forrest and Ruth LaPearl (Kelly) Maddux on September 8, 1943, in Springfield, OH. He married his beloved wife of 60 years, Marlene (Dankworth) Maddux, on October 16, 1966, she survives to cherish his memory.  Larry was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus in Englewood, OH.  He enjoyed playing tennis and bowling.  He was an avid sports fan, read westerns and was a gameshow enthusiast, who enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Left to cherish Larry's memory are his wife, Marlene; daughter, Laura Collier; son, James Maddux; brothers, Jerry and Vincent Maddux; sisters, Janet (Bobby) Berry and Monica Leffel; sisters in law, Sandy Maddux and Betty Dankworth; grandchildren, Tara (Ryan) Olinger, Kailyn (Michael) Ewbank, Ethan and Joshua Collier, Damien and Dominick Maddux; great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Kendall Olinger, Elizabeth Ewbank; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Maddux.
