Larry Allan Alvey 59 of Richmond passed away March 1, 2026 at his home. He was born August 1, 1966 in Richmond to Richard and Phillis Wiseman Alvey and lived in this area all of his life.

Larry worked in maintenance at Primex Plastics.

He enjoyed racing, camping, working on cars, playing cards and loved his animals; he was an avid Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr. fan.

He was a 27 year member of the Sons of the Legion; American Legion post 169 in Cambridge City.

Larry is survived by his wife of 21 years, April Alvey, two daughters Heather (James Burden) Alvey of Richmond, Tandra Moffitt of Anderson, two grandchildren Summer Alvey-Romero, Issac Reilly, one great granddaughter Maeve Alvey-Romero, four brothers Dale (Eunice) Alvey, Norman (Ada) Alvey, Donnie (Joann) Alvey, Steve (Sandy) Alvey, several nieces and nephews and a swarm of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Carla Alvey.
