Kevin Allen 62 of Richmond passed away June 6, 2023, after a long illness. He was born April 8, 1961, in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Luther and Phyllis Bailey Allen and lived in Richmond all of his life.

He owned and operated Allen Painting Co. Inc. and was a member of the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce.

Kevin was a hard worker, generous, and loving man; who loved spending time with his family, and his grandchildren. He loved Camaros, Chevy Silverados, and Chevy Work Van's; he enjoyed watching football, especially the Cincinnati Bengals.

He is survived by his parents, his wife of 18 years Dawn R. Allen, three children Kimberly K. Allen and her fiancé Nathan Statham of Nashville, Tennessee, Christopher Brockman of Richmond, Amanda Haines of Richmond, six grandchildren Tyler Wilson, Hannah Brockman, Brayden Chaney, Blake Chaney, Brenna Chaney, Levi Maurice; one sister Teresa (Danny) Powell of Richmond, two sister-in-Laws Kamera Allen of Fountain City, Cora Allen of Richmond, his mother-in-law Nancy Stoughton of Dayton, Ohio, several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his two brothers Billy and Tim Allen, his paternal grandparents Linville and Ada Allen, and his maternal grandparents Archie and Opal Bailey.

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 9, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. John Shepherd officiating; burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery.
