It is with very heavy hearts that we must announce the passing of our beloved father (Dad) and grandfather (Papa) Kenneth L. Pfoutz. Kenneth left this Earth surrounded by his loving family to join his beloved wife Dorothy in Heaven on Monday, July 20, 2026. Kenneth and Dorothy were married July 2, 1960 and shared a special loving marriage until her passing on July 20, 2003.

Kenneth was born in Richmond on September 24, 1937 to Harvey L. and Helen (Shipley) Pfoutz. Kenneth was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. Kenneth was always there with a helping hand for anyone in need. Kenneth loved spending time with his grandchildren and taking them out for their birthdays. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and working on his farm.

Survivors include his two children Helene R. Pfoutz and Kenneth L.(Melody) Pfoutz II, his grandchildren Michaela, Gabrielle, Brianna, and Kaleb Pfoutz, and his brother-in-law Russell Powell Sr.

In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Dorothy Pfoutz, Blanche (Melvin) Johnson, and Rose Mary Powell, nephew Russell Powell Jr., niece Linda King, and great-niece Breanna Powell.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in Earlham Cemetery, with Rev. Adam Griffin officiating. There will be no public calling.
