Kenneth E Bourne, 83, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. He was born May 1, 1942, to William Frank and Gesiena Kathryn Strazheim Bourne. He retired from Belden Corporation after 40 years as an engineer and was a member of First Baptist Church of Richmond.

Survivors include his two sons, Douglas Bourne of Bunker Hill, Indiana, and Wesley (Angie) Bourne; six grandchildren, Nathan Bourne, Kyler Bourne, Brooklyn Bourne, Hannah Bourne, Abigail Bourne, and Sam Bourne; and his brother, Jerry Bourne.

His wife, Hope Sharon, died on June 7, 2019. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Bourne, daughter-in-law Carla Bourne, and sister-in-law Dottie Bourne.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Richmond with Rev. Branden Pahl officiating followed by burial and graveside services in Fairview Cemetery at West Alexandria, Ohio. Friends and family are invited to come together for a brunch beginning at 10:00 to share stories and food prior to the calling from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. before the funeral service.  Memorial contributions would be appreciated in the First Baptist Church General Mission Fund.
