Katie Jane Templeton-Varvel 34 of Williamsburg died September 5 at her home finding peace after an extended illness. She was born February 6, 1989, in Indianapolis to Jack and April Potter Templeton and lived here all her life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed 4 wheeling, fishing, making jewelry, music, and her family.

Survivors include her husband of 14 years Matt, her son Aaden Matthew Templeton Varvel, her parents, one brother Travis (Keilah) Templeton, her Uncle Jeff Templeton, her Aunt Jane Brandenburg, nieces and nephews Phoebe and Luna, Declan, Sienna, Landyn, and Maddox her mother-in-law Delayna Varvel, and two brothers-in-law Alan (Chelsea) Varvel, and Jonathan (Kelly) Varvel. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law Alan Varvel.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. The burial for Katie will be in Williamsburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Kidney Foundation.
