Kathleen Sue "Kathy' Reece 69 of Richmond died November 3, 2021, unexpectedly at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born March 29, 1952, in New Castle to Robert "Bob" Gamber and Edith Beard and had lived in Wayne Country all her life.

She retired from Reid Hospital and was a graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was a member of the Kirk Little VFW Post #1108 Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years William "Bill" Reece, one daughter Nicole Reece (Joshua Caudill), nieces and nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by one son Roger, her parents, and two sisters Gloria DeWitt and Carolyn DeBolt.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Economy Cemetery in Economy. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
