Joyce Ann Young (Luker) passed away at home surrounded by family on March 30, 2024, in Muncie, Indiana, at the age of 71, after a brief illness.  Born May 15, 1952, in Richmond, Indiana, Joyce was the loving widow of Lonnie Jake Young (d. 2015) and the cherished mother of Ryan (son) and wife Kristy Dalton Luker of Lancaster, South Carolina, Delia (daughter) and husband Michael Kashi of Muncie, Indiana, and Leah (daughter) and husband Nate Davis of Yorktown, Indiana.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, twelve grandchildren; Ryan Luker's children: Cecelia, Griffin, Evyn, Dallas, and Wyatt Luker; Delia Kashi's children: Xavier and Brandon Wallace and Sadie Kashi, and Leah Davis's children: Colin Duddleston and Isabela, Azrelle, and Ava Davis, as well as three great-grandchildren, Clementine (Sadie) and Lincoln and Ophelia (Brandon); and three sisters: Debbie Martin, Deanna Allen, and Carey Holt, as well as several nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her mother Phyllis Snyder, sister Diane Lawson, and Aunt Princess Alexander.

Joyce will be remembered as an intelligent, compassionate, humorous, kind, and loving individual. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren with whom she found her greatest joy.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Joyce Young at Stegall-Berheide-Orr in Richmond, Indiana on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm with a dinner and reception following at Centerville United Methodist Church at 6:00 pm.
