Obituary

J oyce Elaine Dill, 77, of Hartford City passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2024. She was born April 6, 1947, in Richmond to Robert Cannon and Neva Dunlap Conkle.

She was a Richmond High School graduate who worked as a cashier at several grocery stores throughout her life before retiring from Wal-Mart.

Joyce had a pure, honest heart. She never got angry or had a mean word to say. She always put everyone else before herself. She loved God, her friends and family, and especially her grandsons. She loved watching her favorite TV shows; M.A.S.H, Friends, and Blue Bloods. She enjoyed shopping on QVC, playing the lottery, and hoped she would be Publisher's Clearing House's next winner. She liked to work crossword puzzles and read romance novels. The only color of nail polish she would wear was light pink.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa McConnell of Hartford City, three grandsons Nolan, Ian, and Christian; and one brother Jerry Liebert.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Scott Dill, two infant sons Joey and Larry Dill, and two brothers Mike and Steve Cannon.
