Jean A. Farlow, 94, died on May 21, 2023, after a brief final illness.  Loving family members were with her and appreciate the support of the emergency room staff and hospice of Reid Health during her last hospital visit. She died peacefully, painlessly and was treated with great dignity and compassion.

Jean was born in 1929 to Fred and Myrtle (Roberts) Seikel.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 67 years, Phillip Farlow.  She will be deeply missed by her children: Martha Wilson, Fred and Carole Farlow, Darah, and Jeff Regal; her grandchildren: Beth and Dan Cordine, Daniel and Ashley Regal, David, and Sarah Regal, and one great-grandson, Emil Regal.

Jean was an active, lifelong member of the Seventh-day Adventist church.  She was the church organist for 50 years and for many of those years also led various children's departments in Sabbath School.  She was a kind, compassionate, loving person with quick intelligence, a wonderful sense of humor, and strong faith.  She cared for others with an open heart and had a positive influence on more people than she realized.

Friends are welcome to join the family at a graveside service conducted by Pastor Don Dronen at Goshen Cemetery on Wednesday, May 24th at 11:00 a.m. All arrangements are being handled by Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Chapel.
